Drum Roll Please...

Well, finally she has arrived. We caught her big smiling face yesterday (6 days old). She smiles a lot and is a very good baby. Oh by the way, her name is Helena Mae Seely and she was born on April 5, 2008 at 10:34 a.m. She was 7lbs. 8oz., 20in. long. Her middle name is named after the last chinese character in my mom's name. It has been an amazing feeling after this little life has come into my life...and my life has changed.

Anxiety

The third trimester has been alright. I am very blessed, beside the fact that I am feeling big. Due to my hormones, sometimes (almost everyday) my heart rate will go up between 100-120 beats per minute. That’s really the only situation that bothers me a little bit when it happens. Before spring break (03-17 ~ 03-24) I was hoping that I wouldn’t need to go back to school afterward. Now I’m sitting in front of the computer and feeling great with my big belly. I guess the little girl wants to cook a little bit longer in my tummy, and I have to go back to work for another 4 days. (SCREAM)
My church family was very sweet; they planned a baby shower for me even though they don’t know me that well yet. Also, I got a surprise baby shower at school… I was thrilled and speechless. I didn’t expect that at all. I don’t know how to thank the people who were there and being so generous and loving. I think I can only pass this blessing to other people in the future.
When will the little girl get out????????? I am ANXIOUS.
p.s. the picture was taken at the beginning of March.

A Long Time...

Kelly is using the ancient Mayan Stairmaster to lose some weight.
In Mexico, Dzibilchaltun Mayan Ruins.

This is on the cruse from New Orleans to Mexico.

This was our little girl at 20 weeks. Janice is about 7 months pregnant now.
We will have another 4d ultrasound this coming Thursday.

My Dad visited us in December, and we had a GREAT time.

Sorry it has been so long since our last post. The baby (a girl) and Janice are both staying healthy. Here are some pictures.

2nd Appointment

We had our second doctor's appointment, and it happened very quickly. We were able to hear the baby's heartbeat, which was nice.

Our Alternator in our '05 Ford Focus went out. The axle had to be removed to reach it in this model. It took them a long time to do so. When the alternator was replaced with the one I bought that was rebuilt, it stopped working as the car was being driven back to Janice. They claimed the alternator was a lemon. The man I bought the part from claims that the mechanic just wants me to buy a new one, which for the Ford Focus is $400!

Now they are fighting it out. We had to rent a Corolla for a couple days. We rode the motorcycle for a couple days at first, but I didn't feel very comfortable with Janice being on the back. I was always afraid I would have a blowout or something. So, we rented a car. I'm still waiting on the car, and we're praying that we'll be able to afford it!

Our First Ultrasound

We went a couple weeks ago for our first ultrasound and found out that the due date is April 6th, which is very close to my dad's b-day (9th). The Baby's heartbeat was 176 beats/minute. It was really neat, and we really enjoyed the visit.

I was very touched at the moment I saw that little teeny tiny thing. 1.8 cm...it was amazing. At the same time, I was happy I didn't see two of them in there. Kelly and I pray for this little one very often that he/she will be a healthy little baby. It was very awesome to listen to the heartbeat.
